Abstract—A lateral-flow membrane strip was developed to detect the signal of deoxyribonucleic acids. The signal amplification was demonstrated by the detection of the model sample, biotinlyated Avian-Influenza (AI) genetic sequence, with a sandwich configuration of the target-RCA template complex captured between a RCA (Rolling Circle Amplification) template and streptavidin protein immobilized on a nitrocellulose membrane strip.
